Satyanaryan Puja Is Highly Performed Due to the ease In It

Saraswati Puja, The Salutation To Wisdom

Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of wisdom and learning. She is one of the few goddesses who were glorified by Hindus from the Vedic age to Puranic age. The deity of Saraswati is seen sitting on a lotus. She is seen holding the veena as a sign for spreading knowledge. Worshipping saraswati is considered as a quest for knowledge and wisdom. Saraswati puja is conducted to commemorate spring, which is also known as Basant.  The puja is very common among students who want to excel in their exams. Students are considered as seekers of knowledge. They visit goddess Saraswati’s temple for blessing before pursuing their education. Saraswati puja is conducted between January and February. Located in Telangana, The Basara temple is one of the famous temple dedicated to goddess Saraswati. Saraswati, is referred as Gnana Saraswati in this region. The story behind Basara temple is when Vyasa was writing the Bramhanda Puranam he could not write about shakthi. He meditated near the river Godavari. It is said that Goddess Swaraswati appeared there and created three idols. It was the idols of Goddess Laxmi, Kali and Saraswati herself. Saraswati taught Vyasa the necessary mantras to give life to those idols hence making the place a place of devotion for Hindus.

Kaleshwaram Saraswathi Temple;
This temple is located in Kaleshwaram, Telengana. This place is considered as the Dakshina Triveni Sangam since this is where the three rivers meet. The River Godavari meets its tribunary River Pranahita and the third river is Saraswati.

 Sarada Devi in Sringeri;
The Sarada Devi temple is located in Sringeri which is in Karnataka. In this temple the Idol of Goddess Saraswati was made with Sandalwood but was changed to gold during the reign of the ruler Vidyaranyulu.

.Saraswati in Kuthanur;
Located in Tamil Nadu, the Saraswati temple in Kuthanur is one of the famous Saraswati temple located outside Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. It is believed that the people of arts like musicians perform pujas in this temple before starting their learning process.
